Dr Bike & Bike Servicing

We hold monthly free Dr Bike sessions (delivered by the Ouseburn Bike Works) where qualified mechanics carry out safety-checks and service you bike.

Dr Bike provide free bicycle health checks, basic maintenance works and 'bike prescriptions' for more complex repairs. City Campus sessions take place between 09:00 to 15:00 in a blue gazebo located between the Library and Northumberland Building, on the first Wednesday of each month. Dates below:

21/11/23 (Drive to arrive)

Along with the usual repair service, we are now able to offer drop-in workshop sessions during these monthly visits where staff and students can come along and learn simple repairs and maintenance tips etc.

Cycle pumps and bike maintenance kits

You can access cycle pumps in the secure staff cycle stores on campus should your tyres be a bit deflated, and bike maintenance kits can be borrowed from the Security Offices at both City and Coach Lane campuses.

Cycle Tagging

Regular cycle tagging events enable you to have your bike security tagged for free thanks to the University's Security team and the local police.  You can also pick up a free cycle lock.

Can’t wait for the next session? Visit the Security Office at the rear of the Trinity Building and they will be able to support you.
