Why did you choose Northumbria University, Newcastle?

Because I really like the city and I've heard before I came that the Law school is really good. Also, my course is innovative and it combines Law and Business.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Newcastle region is just amazing, I love the Quayside and I like spending my time there with my friends.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

I like the fact that the city is really vibrant and it's full of young people. Local people are really friendly as well.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Definitely, everybody here is really helpfull and always willing to guide you when you try to get know the campus.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

The facilities are outstanding and that was the first thing that grabed my attention.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

Our Contract Law lecturer, Fiona Fletcher.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Newcastle Business School.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects? Tells us about the highlights?

I joined the Gym from the first week I arrived and the building is one of the best I've ever seen.

What is the best thing about your course?

The best about my course is that is not just Law, but it is Business orianted as well.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

That I must work very hard to achieve good results, not only at University I but life as well.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

One of my favourite was EU Law, and I would like to develop within this area.

Have you taken up any opportunities to travel with your current course/undertake field trips? If so, please tell us about them.

I had chance to visit Ediburgh and York. Everythig was organised by the Students' Union.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

That campus and staff are excellent and NU is the biggest university in the North East and gives you good career opportunities.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Living abroad is a good experience and I've learnt how to be more confident.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Memorable, impressive, forever.

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Definitely!
