What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

As a Muslim student, Newcastle is a very suitable city for Muslim students where I can find all I need, and I like eating out at halal restaurants.

Did you find Northumbria University welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, the staff are very welcoming and it is easy to fit in.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to Northumbria University?

Sport Central, and library.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

All staff who have taught me, and the student support.

Who has inspired you most at Northumbria University?

The lecturers.

What is your favourite place on campus?

The Library at city campus, and Pandon Building.

What is the best thing about your course?

Programming.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Java Language lessons.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I've gained experience of computer science and programming languages.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

I would say they will be ready to work once graduated from Northumbria, no need for extra courses for your future job as you'll get beneficial experience about your interests.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at Northumbria University, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I've become more responsible and sure, confident.

Accurate, Valuable, Brief.

Would you recommend Northumbria University to a friend?

Of course, especially in Computer Science.
