Dr Hilary Francis

Assistant Professor

Hilary joined Northumbria as a Vice Chancellor's Research Fellow in 2018. Her doctoral research provided an oral history of Nicaragua's Contra War.  Hilary is now an Assistant Professor of Latin American history, with expertise in oral history and interdisciplinary projects. Her latest project, working with a range of partners, is an oral history of ADHD in the UK.
