Dr Amy Swift

Assistant Professor

School: Healthcare and Nursing Sciences

Amy has a professional background in mental health nursing, specialising in children and young people. She is programme lead for Level 4 Mental Health Nursing and a strong advocate for equality in teaching and learning. 

Amy completed her Ph.D. studies ‘They haven’t ever discussed my feelings. I wish they would’: How Obstetric Brachial Plexus Palsy (OBPP) affects mental wellbeing in children: A Mixed-Methods Approach under the supervision of Professor Toby Brandon at Northumbria University.
